It’s super dark and rainy in Seattle and all I can think about is being somewhere tropical! I was reminiscing about that time I went to Thailand and it was the perfect tropical escape. I started thinking about my trip and decided to make a Bloody Mary inspired by Thai flavors. Not only does this Bloody Mary have sriracha chili sauce it also has a Thai drinking staple; Singha beer. This Bloody Mary is great for a post weekend hangover because it is spicy and boozy.
Ingredients:
- ½ of a serrano or thai chili pepper and 2 chili peppers for garnish
- 3 ounces of Singha beer
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1 lime, juiced and a couple of lime slice for garnish
- 1 teaspoon of Sriracha chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons of seasoned rice vinegar
- 3 ounces of vodka
- 11 ounces of V8 Juice
- 2 cup of ice
Garnish: 2 chili peppers and lime slices
Instructions:
- In a blender combine all ingredients except the ice and beer
- Blend mixture until all ingredients have been combined
- Fill two glasses completely with ice and fill glass ¾ full with blended mixture
- Top off each glass with 1.5 ounces of beer and stir mixture
Yields: 2 or more servings depending on glasses used
