Sun-dried Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper Bloody Mary

This Bloody Mary is a great spin on the original! If you aren’t up to using all the ingredients below you can take your favorite Bloody Mary mixture and just add sun-dried tomatoes and roasted red peppers.  The sun-dried tomatoes really make this drink unique because it provides a sweet but tart flavor to this hangover cure. This would be a great addition to a summer brunch or breakfast with friends. Start your weekend with this fun and different Bloody Mary!

, Sun-dried Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper Bloody Mary

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of roasted red peppers
  • ¼ cup of sundried tomatoes
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 3 ounces of vodka
  • 8 ounces of V8 Juice
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish
  • 1 cup of ice

Garnish: with a rim of chili powder, salt, and pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a blender combine all ingredients except the ice and garnishes
  2. Blend mixture until all ingredients have been combined
  3. Fill two glasses with ice cubes and pour mixture over ice
  4. Garnish: with a rim of chili powder, salt, and pepper

Yields: 2 servings
