Spicy Summery Strawberry Marg

Celebrating summer with my fav things; Spicy Strawberry Margs & Guac! Who wants some?  I have partnered with Mezzetta to make this tasty happy hour combo using their Tamed Jalapeño Peppers. These peppers added a tangy & light spice to both the marg and guac.  I have also loved all the Mezzetta products from the pickled vegetable to the olives they are always stocked in my cabinet for a quick go-to for cocktail garnishes as well as snacks.  Cocktails and snacks are always elevated with Mezzetta and it takes minimal effort to incorporate into your regular entertaining routine.

, Spicy Summery Strawberry Marg

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 ounces of Tequila
  • ¾ Lime Juice
  • ½ Agave Nectar
  • 3 Strawberries, sliced
  • 4 Mezzetta Tamed Jalapeño Peppers

Method:

  1. Rim glass with chili salt
  2. Add strawberries and Mezzetta Tamed Jalapeno Peppers to the shaker then muddle
  3. Add tequila, lime juice, and agave nectar to a shaker with ice
  4. Shake then double strain over ice
  5. Garnish with a lime wheel and Mezzetta Tamed Jalapeño Pepper

I have never used a pickled pepper in a cocktail before & this was def a game-changer in the flavor department.

Two Pepper Guacamole

Ingredients:

  • 3 Avocados, chopped
  • 5 Mezzetta Roasted Bell Peppers, sliced
  • 15 Tamed Jalapeño Peppers, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients to the bowl
  2. Mash together and serve
