Spicy Fresno Margarita

Today I wanted to share a tropical but spicy frozen Margarita with you and give you something to beat the heat. I am currently reminiscing about the time I went exploring the tequila region and tasting all kinds of yummy tequila. Cheers to your favorite Margarita!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 ounces of tequila
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mango
  • 1 Fresno chili sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of agave
  • ½ tablespoon grenadine
  • 1 cup of ice

Garnish: Whole Fresno chili pepper and rim glass with equal parts of salt and chili powder

Instructions:

  1. In a blender combine tequila, lime juice, mango, sliced Fresno chili, agave nectar, grenadine and ice
  2. Blend until desired consistency
  3. Rim serving glass with salt and chili powder
  4. Pour blended mixture into serving glass
  5. Garnish with whole Fresno chili
