Pomegranate Collins

by James Stevenson

As the weather gets cooler over the next few months I’m looking for other ways to keep my figure in check as I will likely be walking and running less during the cold afternoons. This has led me to using more vodka, which uses no sugar or additives in the production and products like Prairie Organic Vodka fit the bill perfectly. Another of my favorite ways to keep the sugar out is by utilizing honey water instead which works as a great sweetener and adds a little something to the concoction. Fresh lemon juice gives the drink a great kick and gives this cocktail a pretty reminiscent touch of a drink you might try if you’ve had the flu. Luckily, I topped it all off with a little pomegranate soda to give it a little pop I felt it was missing and it really bought it all together.
