Pomegranate Boulevardier

by James Stevenson

Today I have a twist on a classic recipe that I am sharing. I am obsessed with Negronis so I decided to do a twist on the classic rye version here and it is so tasty. It’s a Pomegranate Boulevardier the pomegranate flavor adds a bit of a seasonal fruit taste and sweetness! This sweetness works really well with the rye and the Campari. In this instance it is kind of hard to stray from the regular Boulevardier but the pomegranate gives you a little different cocktail perspective. So, let’s explore some rye cocktails!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce of Campari
  • 1.5 ounces of Bulleit Rye
  • 1 ounce of sweet vermouth
  • ½ ounce of pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup of ice

Garnish: edible flower

Instructions:

  • In a glass add Campari, Bulleit Rye, sweet vermouth, pomegranate juice, and ice Stir until all ingredients are mixed up.
  • Strain mixture into serving glass
  • Garnish with edible flower
