PB&J Breakfast Crush Martini

PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME! Happy World Cocktail Day! I love making creative cocktails and one of my favorite classics to switch up is the Breakfast Martini. I have partnered with the National Peanut Board to bring you this delish cocktail. I have infused the gin with some creamy peanut butter and added homemade strawberry jam to take this cocktail into warmer weather. My inspiration for this cocktail is my favorite sandwich the PB&J, which I love with homemade strawberry jam that my grandmother makes each year at the height of summer. I love being able to take one of my favorites and turn it into such a tasty cocktail. What is your favorite PB&J combo?

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces of gin
  • 1 bar spoon of creamy peanut butter
  • 1 bar spoon of strawberry jam
  • 3⁄4 ounce of lemon juice
  • 1⁄2 ounce of strawberry simple syrup
  • 1⁄4 ounce of orange liqueur

Method:

  1. Add gin and peanut butter to a shaker
  2. Stir peanut butter with gin until it mixes in
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and shake until chilled
  4. Strain over crushed ice
  5. Garnish with fresh strawberries and a miniature PB&J sandwich
