Patrón Smoked Sea Salt Margarita

Today I am sharing a recipe that was created by Brian Dressel out of Austin, Texas. This recipe was Patrón’s Margarita of the Year and is perfect for daytime sipping or a smoky nightcap. I especially love the smokiness from the smoked paprika that pairs perfectly with Patrón Silver. The pineapple juice adds a sweetness that is highlighted by the smokiness of the sea salt. This Margarita is easy to make and is perfectly balanced!

, Patrón Smoked Sea Salt Margarita


  • 1.5 ounces of Patrón Silver
  • ½ ounce of fresh lime juice
  • ½ ounce of pineapple juice
  • ½ ounce of agave nectar
  • Pinch of smoked paprika
  • Pinch of smoked sea salt

Garnish: Lime and a dusting of smoked paprika


  • Prepare an old fashioned glass by moistening the rim and rolling it in smoked sea salt
  • Shake everything with ice
  • Fine strain over fresh ice cubes in prepared glass
