Passion Fruit Port Sour

I am so excited for spring because the weather is warmer and it is so much fun to spring into fun cocktail recipes (see what I did there lol).   One of my favorite ingredients to get my creative juices flowing is white port. I love using it as a natural substitution in classic cocktails and to create new flavor combos of my own for my friend’s to try. Today I am sharing a port based cocktail using the delish Fonseca Siroco Dry White Port. It has tasting notes of ripe fruit, aging wood, and a crisp dry finish. This port has a crisp finish because it is fermented for longer than other styles of port before it is fortified. Now it’s time to Pop The Port and make the Passion Fruit Port Sour. I love how the tropical notes of the passion fruit combine with the fruit and dry notes of the white port rounding out a balanced cocktail just in time for spring.

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker with ice
  2. Shake then strain
  3. Shake again without ice
  4. Strain into coupe
  5. Garnish with rosemary and edible flowers
