Lemon Curd Margarita

Ready for a margarita made with lemons? Everyone needs to switch it up once in a while and try something new. This Margarita is made with lemon curd and lemons which solves the lime problem right away. The lemon curd adds a sweet tangy flavor to the drink that will make you ask for a second Margarita. I really enjoyed this margarita because the flavors married so well with the tequila. It may be hard to go back to a classic Margarita after you try this version.

, Lemon Curd Margarita


  • 1.5 ounces of tequila
  • 2 tablespoon of lemon curd
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ½ ounce of Grand Marnier
  • ½ orange, juiced
  • 1 cup of ice

Garnish: Fresh lemon slice


  1. Fill blender with tequila, lemon curd, lemon juice, Grand Mariner, orange juice and ice
  2. Blend mixture and rim serving glass with kosher salt
  3. Pour mixture into serving glass and garnish
