Check out this fresh, festive Holiday Bramble that’ll make you look like a pro. We have partnered with Master of Mixes again to use their Cocktail Essentials Mint Syrup in this delicious cocktail and show how easy mixing drinks and impressing your friends can be. Fresh mandarins are everywhere this time of year and their juice is so fresh and delicious that I love using it in my cocktails.
The citrus from the mandarin mixed with the lemon juice and botanical notes from the gin were superb, but the cocktail turned out a little too sour for my liking, and that’s where the mint syrup comes in. Sure you could use plain syrup in your cocktail, but why would you when you can add the minty fresh flavor? The cranberry juice float was our version of putting a cherry on top, as it not only looks great, but brings a little tartness the cocktail seemed to be missing.
The mint syrup is part of Master of Mixes Cocktail Essentials line, which offers six must-have bar staples, each a perfect finishing touch for your cocktail. Plus, there’s no need to scramble all over town looking for ingredients because the mint syrup can be found right in the grocery store along with the lemon and mandarin that go in this Holiday Bramble recipe.
