This cocktail was created for the 4th of July, we celebrated with an extravagant shimmering Viniq cocktail but who says you can’t enjoy it all year. We hosted a backyard BBQ with our close friends and while everyone was enjoying the fireworks displays, we let off our own little sparklers to set off our DIY cocktail bar. Whenever I drink Viniq Ruby, I always love to mix up a cocktail with some citrus. In this recipe, I found that the sharp tangy lemon juice flavor really sets this red berry cocktail off. I decided to also add strawberry simple syrup, but as you can see, there are other options in the photos such as blackberries, blueberries and coconut. Playing around with these different flavors and edible garnishes adds a unique element of fun to our DIY cocktail bar. One ingredient I think we all can agree should always be close by when celebrating anything is champagne; so to complete our Fireworks Cocktail we topped it off with some sparkling champagne!

- 1.5 ounces of Viniq Ruby
- 1 ounce of lemon juice
- ½ ounce of strawberry simple syrup
- 2-3 ounces of champagne
- Chill all ingredients for 2 hours prior to making the cocktail
- In a flute glass add Viniq Ruby, lemon juice, and strawberry simple syrup
- Stir mixture
- Top mixture with champagne
- Garnish with strawberry and blueberry skewers
Warning: When using sparklers as a garnish make sure to allow the sparkler to cool before handling.
