I love spicy food and that translates into some of my drink recipes. This margarita is so easy to make because you throw all ingredients into the blender and you’re done! Party Time! This is not the traditional margarita it has lemons and fresno peppers which give the drink color and heat. The mango gives it a tropical flair and helps cut some of the spiciness.
- 4.5 ounces of anejo tequila
- ½ lemon, juiced
- ½ orange, juiced
- 5 ounces of mango puree
- ½ fresno pepper (you can add less if you do not like heat)
- 2 cups of ice
- ¼ cup of soda water
- 1 tablespoon of agave
Garnish: 3 slices of left over fresno pepper
- Fill the blender with the tequila, lemon juice, orange juice, mango puree, fresno pepper, soda water, agave and ice
- Blend mixture and pour into serving glasses
- Garnish and serve!
Yields: 3 or more servings depending on serving glass
