Candied Pecan Bourbon

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! I hope you find some bourbon to share with friends! Cheers!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces of Wild Turkey Bourbon
  • ½ orange, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon candied pecan simple syrup (*recipe below)
  • 1 cup of crushed ice
  • 2 dashed of Peychauds bitters

Instructions:

  • Mix bourbon, orange juice, and simple syrup in a glass
  • Add ice and stir
  • Top with 2 dashes of Peychauds bitters
  • Garnish with a candied pecan

*Recipe: Candied Pecan Simple Syrup Ingredients 1 cup of water 1 cup of sugar 8 chopped candied pecans Instructions: In a saucepan combine sugar, water, and candied pecans. Let it boil for until sugar dissolves Strain mixture and let it cool Extra syrup may be stored in a glass container for up to a week.
