Bourbon Cinnamon Delight

I have taken a short break from posting recipes because I have been on the road sampling cocktails and finding inspiration. I just did a small trip along the west coast that included stops in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Portland. All these cities shared wonderful cocktails with me!

So, today I am getting back on track and making a strong drink for your Wednesday! I am sharing a simple fall bourbon recipe that is perfect for parties and tailgating. I have taken three of my favorite ingredients and made a super strong cocktail. Bourbon, cream soda, and cinnamon all marry together to give this a fall spicy flavor. I love this cocktail because it is so easy and is different way to experience bourbon. This drink takes the classic bourbon and coke or bourbon and ginger to another level without sacrificing the bourbon flavor. I love the sweetness that the cream soda adds with the spiciness of cinnamon. This drink is fall in a cup and will warm you up! Cheers to bourbon!

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces of Wild Turkey Bourbon
  • 4 ounces of cream soda
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 cup of ice

Garnish: Sprinkle of cinnamon

  2. Add 1.5 ounces of bourbon to each glass

  4. Add a cinnamon stick to each glass
