Blood Orange Daiquiri

I am getting to the point of no return with the gloomy weather in Seattle. I severely need a pick me up in the form of alcohol; so today I created a tropical seasonal Daiquiri. I need to pretend that I am somewhere warm and this cocktail will take you to that place! The rum, lime, and blood oranges scream tropical oasis!

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces of spiced rum
  • 2 blood oranges, juiced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 teaspoons of agave
  • 1 cup of ice

Garnish: Blood orange slice

Instructions:

  1. In a blender combine rum, blood orange juice, lime juice, agave and ice
  2. Blend ingredients in the blender
  3. Pour blended mixture into serving glass
