This is an adaption on the classic bourbon sour cocktail but I have added a special new Amaro. The Amaro di Angostura is a great product and received the best new spirit award at the Tales of the Cocktail spirited awards in 2015.
I tried this amazing spirit when I was in New Orleans and knew I had to make some type of fun cocktail. Amaro’s are a traditional Italian herbal liqueur that is usually enjoyed after dinner. Now that liqueurs are becoming more popular they are being used to enhance cocktails and not just sipped straight. Try a fun cocktail today with Amaro and start planning out your weekend cocktails.
