Tomorrow I have a very special date and I wanted to post a tasty boozy cocktail. This is probably one of the best cocktails I have ever made. The grapefruit, lime, and limoncello add a tangy fresh citrus punch while the bourbon makes the drink spicy. This is the perfect date night cocktail!
Ingredients
- 1.5 ounces of Maker’s Mark Bourbon Whisky
- 1 ounce of limoncello
- Champagne to top
- ½ grapefruit, juiced
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 cup of ice
Garnish: A grapefruit skin heart.
Instructions:
- In a cocktail shaker combine Marker’s Mark, limoncello, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and ice.
- Shake until chilled and mixed
- Strain mixture into serving glass and top glass off with champagne
