Fun and Festive Cocktail Recipes from Havana Club

I don’t put up all the press releases I receive, but these cocktails sound and look so good, I figured why not.

As we prepare to welcome the holiday season, Havana Club has just the fun and festive cocktail recipes guaranteed to bring extra cheer to your holiday gatherings this year. Whether you’re looking for the best cocktails to serve your guests or DIY drinks perfect for gifting, these Havana Club recipes have you covered from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve!
Pumpkin Pie Rum
  • 2 parts Butternut-squash infused Havana Club Añejo Clásico
  • ½ part harvest syrup (ginger, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar)
  • 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • ¼ part Galliano Liqueur
  • Ground ginger & cinnamon stick garnish
Directions:
  1. Roast the butternut squash and infuse the rum with it for three to four hours
  2. Strain when finished
  3. Shake vigorously with ice and strain neatly into a rocks glass
  4. Garnish with freshly grated cinnamon and a cinnamon stick.
Apple Cider Daiquiris
  • 2 parts HAVANA CLUB Añejo Clásico
  • Apple Pie
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 parts Spiced Apple Cider
  • Pinch of vanilla-cinnamon sugar
Directions:
  1. Shake all ingredients vigorously with ice
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass
  3. No need to wait after dinner to enjoy
Noche Buena
  • 2 parts HAVANA CLUB Añejo Clásico
  • ½ part Absinthe
  • 1 part St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Directions:
  1. Pour absinthe into a rocks glass; swirl to coat, and discard liqueur
  2. Stir all ingredients vigorously with plenty of ice until very cold
  3. Strain into a rocks glass over ice
  4. Torched, smoky rosemary sprig for garnish
Créme de Vie
  • 4 parts HAVANA CLUB Añejo Blanco
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk
  • 6 Egg Yolks
  • 2 parts Sugar
  • 1 part Water
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
Directions:
  1. Use an electric mixer to cream the sugar and egg yolks together
  2. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk and one cup of evaporated milk
  3. Mix for a minute or two to dissolve the sugar
  4. Add the rest of the milk, cream, vanilla, and rum
  5. Mix until the mixture is thick and frothy
  6. Garnish with a dusting of nutmeg and serve immediately
