Irish Negroni

To celebrate St. Patrick's day today I created this Irish Negroni as I love some good Irish whiskey and one of my favorite classic cocktails to create variations of, is the Negroni. This is a really simple cocktail to create variations of and today I swapped out the gin and replaced it with Irish whiskey. Typically a Negroni with whisky is called a Boulevarier but as I used Irish whiskey this time I thought I would refer it to it's original namesake; the Negroni.

Method:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with 1 cup of ice
  2. Stir to chill and combine ingredients
  3. Strain into rocks glass over fresh ice
  4. Garnish with an orange twist
  5. Enjoy!
